MSIL is getting achievement in the A-segment and B-segment cars. In D-segment car market MSIL is launching its first luxury family car as a “Maruti Kizashi”.Maruti Suzuki Kizashi was previously launching three types Kizashi like Kizashi 1at the Bologna motor show in Italy (2007), kizashi 2 at the Sao polo motor show in Brazil (2008), Kizashi 3 at the Sydney auto show (2008). Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is one of the largest company in car market of India. There are many competitor in mid car market. No proper idea about the exact cost of the Maruti Kizashi, some sites state its’ cost around 10-12 lakhs, it will compete with the Volkswagen Jetta, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Hyundai Sonata, and Skoda Octavia.

sadly enough, the kizashi in india will be a sedan, and not the estate AWD version...
ReplyDeletethese images are of the concept vehicle and not of the pretty pedestrian D segment sedan they will finally launch. they will give us something suited for "india" where only sedans sell and high-end hatchbacks and estates don't find any buyers...
look at what they did to SX4. after seeing the debacle of Ford Fusion in India, maruti turned their crossover (X) AWD (4) into a funny-looking sedan. but we Indians lapped it up... no wonder the Kizashi in India will just be another sedate sedan and not a swank estate or hatchback...we deserve it, actually :(
